About

FAIRY'S FINGERS is standing for handmade, quality and
savoir-faire.

Behind Fairy's Fingers hides Carole Meunier

Carole Meunier

Carole was born between the reels of
threads, fine embroideries and ... car engines.
Passionate about beautiful
materials, the handmade, the fabric, the meticulous work, it is quite naturally that her love for embroidery comes to her.
Her attachment to pretty things, which she cannot always obtain, forces her imagination and her creative spirit to invent again and again ...

Carole Meunier

From an early age, she tinkered with things: from the cardboard box that she transformed into a dollhouse, through the scraps of fabrics that she reinvented into dresses, the aspiring designer likes to give a second life to the objects of our daily life and makes the ones she misses.

After serious studies in tourism and obtaining the guide-interpreter card, Carole worked in a travel agency, then made the choice to take care of her children. Once grown up, she managed a bar without alcohol for 4 years. But at the end of her contract, she realizes that her dream is to become a craftswoman and to make her passion, her job. She obtained the status of self-employed craftswoman on March 1, 2012.

Cardboard then becomes her clay, which she models according to her many ideas.

Nostalgic for the time when accessories were of quality, perfect finishes, and handmade works, Carole learns little by little to realize them herself. Her first creations were then intended for seamstresses and embroiderers, among them the measure tapes, which have remained very popular items.

Although creation is a solitary activity, transmission is also close to Carole's heart. In order to share her world with the general public, she created her first personal blog in 2008, which mainly deals with embroidery, but the enthusiasm that fans have for her work brought her to create another blog in early 2012, more professional this time, dedicated to cartonnage.

She regularly collaborates with the national magazine "Passion Cartonnage et Broderie".

Technical files and cardboard kits have been added to its range of finished products, some of which are even translated into English.
She also participated in two cartonnage books by her friend Sophie Liu, a famous Taiwanese cartonnage designer, for whom she rereads and adds a French touch to the explanations.

To promote and commercialize, FAIRY'S FINGERS participates in a few designer markets and trade shows and above all has a store on the Etsy Marketplace , which allows her to sell all over the world.
